'06 bed accessory questions

This is on an '06 Double Cab short bed FWIW.

Anyone have a bungy net? Does it hook OK into the rail slots or do you just use the factory tie downs? How well do they work?

The bed looks like it has pockets for boards that go across. The slots look like they would fit a 1x8. Is that what is supposed to go in there or does Toyota sell accessories to for that? Any good DIY mods to fit those?

Does anyone make the sort of hoop thing that folds out on an open tail gate to provide more size? I'm guessing not since the Taco tailgate is notorious for bending under weight, but I'll ask anyway.

I guess I need to crack open the manual and see how much loading the D-rings and bed rail tie downs will hold.

Any other good bed accessories I should be aware of? (I know - pop-N-lock - but I don't think I have questions about that.)
