My 06 toyota tacoma has had more transmission problems than I can think of. It was completely rebuilt around may 2014. I currently do not have any forward gears at all and have replaced the slt solenoid. With the computer connected there is only reverse and when you disconnect the computer every gear engages.
What could the problem with my transmission be?

Who rebuilt it? What kind of guarantee or warranty did you get with the rebuild?

I'd guess that it's an electrical issue, maybe a loose connection in the valve body. Maybe @gearcruncher would know. If he doesn't chime in soon, you might PM him. Have you checked the fluid level? Any codes being thrown, is the check engine light on?

Fluid levels are good. Check engine light has been on ever since I replaced the slt solenoid. If my memory serves me right I believe the code thats being theown lately is the performance soledoid d stuck in or off.
