What are the major differences? Please note the years I am inquiring about. Im mainly curious whether or not the TRD Sport has the locking rear differential or not?

Oh bummer! I like the appearance of the sport, but want the locker! Oh well... functionality first... the Off Road it shall be. I spend about half my weekends up in the Big Bear area and the high desert gettin dirty anyhow... the scoop wouldn't help much at all, lol.

What does it typically cost to swap out a hood? Im gonna look into that.

Thanks a bunch to those who helped out, by the way

Get over the scoop... it is fake, and it blocks vision if you are into four wheeling... Cresting steep grades you need to see what is in front of you right away... I test drove a sport in '05, and that scoop was annoying right off the lot!

Sport also has paint matched door handles, mirrors, rear bumper.

I got the sports cause i'm picky on the looks. I'll get an air locker later when I get serious about off roading.

Scoop is very easy to make functional .. took me about 10 minutes .. but yes, not great for four wheeling, but perfectly OK if you don't do any off roading. :)
