'07 SR5 - Key Fob? Keyless entry?

Recently picked up a '07 SR5 Access Cab. Driver door had been replaced, but the lock from the damaged door wasn't installed in the new door. So I don't have a key for the driver door. I've been told I could bring the lock to a locksmith and they'd match the lock to the key, which I'll probably do at some point. Other option is getting a key fob. It has power locks. The previous owner did not get a key fob from the first owner. So we don't know if the truck came with a key fob or not....the Toyota dealer I went to could not determine if it came with a key fob, and said if they made one for me and it didn't work I couldn't return it.

So does anyone know if this truck came with a (keyless) key fob?

I would just buy a new set of cylinders and keys from the dealer and rekey every lock to one/two keys you know.
The locksmith is the most expensive part, but the cylinders are easily changed out. Just need techstream to program the chips.

 

I only need one cylinder, dealer told me it'd be cheaper to bring it to a locksmith. My question is - did this truck come with a key fob?

 

Ok, take a look behind your glove box, after you remove glovebox, then take out the black plastic pannel (held on with a 10mm hex head bolt) and look for the white electronic box, if the white box is there, the truck came with remote locks & fob.

Buy a cheapo $10 key fob off Amazon & program it yourself. Super easy - I believe u can program up to 4 fobs. My truck came with 1 fob & 2 keys. I just bought a cheapo fob as a backup & it only took me 2 tries to program it myself. If it doesn’t work you know that’s the 5th fob & will have to do a blank reset. It’s actually really easy. Some thread on here had all the instructions - I’m away from my computer so I can’t dig for it now.

my 07 SR5 double cab had a keyless OEM fob.

 

I stopped carrying the fob when it stopped working and haven't looked back. Less crap in my pocket.
