Other than buying an iPod and a USA-Spec TOY, or replacing my factory head deck, are there any options for adding MP3 playback to the truck? I don't want to use an FM modulator either.

Do they make CD changes that play MP3s? Does Toyota offer an MP3 player for these trucks?

One dealer told me they offered an MP3 deck as an upgrade. I have yet to find this anywhere else.

If I had to replace the head deck... this would look sexy :D

Yeah my boss put that $2,400 head unit in his 07 Dbl Cab with the rear view and side view cameras... That and two big amps... speakers all around, and a big sub behind the rear passenger seat.

I just have a big problem taking a door panel pry bar to a brand new truck with a "almost good enough" system in it.

If it had some crappy delco or ford system it would have been sitting on the dealers parking lot before I took delivery.

The stereo is my biggest complaint with the Tacoma. It is just plain crappy. Needs more power and a tad better speakers IMO.
