I have a 07 tacoma TRD Sport, double cab 4x4 long bed and installed a rough country 3" spacer lift, once completed, I had some really bad front vibrations, I lived with it for a little while, but then took off the lift and the vibs went away. I am wondering if anyone out there installed a lift on their tacoma with the same specs as mine. What kinda of lift, and were there any problems. Or if anyone else has recommendations. Thanks

I just installed the Toytec Ultimate Tacoma Lift on my 08 TRD Sport Doublecab and it's great! It now rides smoother than stock and I encourage you to check out toyteclifts.com! They have several different lift options available.

They have some shims that are supposed to correct this. The drop your front diff as well as your hanger bearing and shim your rear diff. It is supposed to keep your driveshaft inline.

I had 2" angled block's in the rear, dropped the carrier baring and dropped the diff, and the vibes were still there. Today I took the blocks off and the carrier baring spacer and drove it, still vibrated, so I took off the front spacers and everything else and the vibs stopped. I have heard of many people having these problems but no real solutions, I think I will try the toytec lift if people have been happy with it.

Yeah that is the lift he is referring to. Some have had vibes while running all of those (the diff. drop + carrier bearing drop + axle shims) You need to try different set ups. I'm running just the diff drop and axle shims and only have a slight vibe between 5-10mph. Sounds crazy but everyone's truck is different and doesn't react the same to what you put on it.

Hope you figure it out soon.
