First off I live in SC, we do not have emissions testing at all and I do know it is "illegal" to run without cats, so please, please don't try to explain that. Okay, I have searched and searched and can't seem to find a post on someone running a 2.7 with an o2 Simulator and no cats. I was wondering if anyone out there is running a set up like this because I want to cut both mine out. With hopes of picking up a little low end power and a few mpgs. If you have a setup like this pics would be much appreciated and what kind of o2 sims are you guys running? I've looked at URD and Empire. Thanks for the info guys.

IMO You're wasting your time. Your're better off putting on a header and exhaust. Cat is the least of your flow problems.

I've read it wont lose any power and I've read that It will. I'm not really sure what to believe...

dont waste your time and money with the exhaust ive tried a dynomax and magnaflow muffler. the straight through design creates a loss of back pressure as well as a loss of power header is the better of the 2.

I thought about doing that, however, I had headers on my F-150 and I hate the subtle "clicking" kind of sound that comes from the collector. And I have yet to find an exhaust that is as quiet or quieter than stock, and free flowing. I do not want a flowmaster, gibson, magnaflow, borla...etc. because I have a truck with a big v8 that I can drive if I want to hear something. So since neither a header or exhaust is an option right now I figured removing the cats would be the next best thing, since it would only cost the price of the sim. I can get pipe welded for free
