What in the world is going on?

Come one come all! Come on out, show off your rig, meet fellow Toyota Tacoma Coalition members and other Toyota and Tacoma enthusiasts, and have fun! It's been too long since the Houston area has had a large Tacoma meet, and now is a great time to remedy that.

We plan on initially meeting at the Kemah Meet and Car Show located at the Home Depot in Clear Lake Shores, just a few minutes drive from the Kemah Boardwalk. From there, we will likely grab food from one of the dozen restaurants in the Kemah Boardwalk / Lighthouse District. After stuffing ourselves with delicious food, we're probably going to migrate somewhere to relax and let our hair down (for those of us who still have hair).

Am I welcome?

HELL YES YOU ARE. This event has been coordinated with the Texas Toyota Coalition but you need not be a member to join us on the 8th. You don't even have to drive a Toyota or a Tacoma. The only requirement is the desire to hang out with good people, engage in good conversation, and have a good time.

Does it matter that my Tacoma is stock?

Nope. Show it off in all its OEM glory!

Why are we meeting at a Home Depot in Clear Lake Shores?

Weather permitting, the Kemah Meet and Car Show converges here every Saturday beginning around 6:00pm till about 9:00pm. It's a weekly family friendly event where you'll meet other friendly auto-enthusiasts and see vehicles of all sorts here: classics, exotics, muscle, import, etc. There will also be a heck of a lot of extravagant golf carts rolling around. On the 8th of September lets add your vehicle to that list! Come hang out and make a strong positive statement with our presence!

What if I'm not local?

We also have several TTC members coming in from out of town from all over Texas. If you're looking to come join us and don't want to worry about driving back home late at night or a long distance, there are several hotel/motel options close by. If this appeals to you, please reserve your room ASAP because this area is a popular locale and rooms book relatively quickly.

Should I bring anything?

Bring a lawn chair. The meet is in a parking lot, so there aren't places to sit. If you don't have one, there is a Walmart about a mile away on FM 518 or buy one ahead of time!
