Hey everyone, I just got a new '09 DC 4x4 TRD Sport last week and am new to the site. 500 mi on the truck so far and I love it...although I'm more than a little pissed to find out now that I don't have a mechanical LSD. I guess I should have done some more research before choosing the Sport over the OR.

Anyway...has anyone heard of issues with the "G" model 3- pack leaf springs on the '09s?? I've heard that everyone who got the 05-08 TSB was given 4-pack leaf springs and worry a little bit that mine won't hold up over time.

    Oh Yeah!!!
Yes that TSB had recently been added for the 08 Model 4x4's and Prerunners. The 09's being so new will probably be added by summer. But, with a little persuation and patience, you may be able to get a dealer in your area to honor it. Your truck qualifies. Had my truck about a year before getting it done. Unless you haul heavy loads or tow alot, you wont have any issues, but getting it done is worth it.

Print out the TSB. Show them the part# on your Leafs, and that they are the same, and see what happens from there.

If that dont work, find the 1-800# on this site, and they can help expedite your issue.
