09 Map lights "on" with dome light before ECM, now off

I must be crazy. Help me out:

09 Taco, took it in today for an oil change and an ECM upgrade for the transmission shifting. Tranny feels great. Pull in the driveway, pull the key out, and-

the courtesy lights don't turn on. not even the dome light. I open the drivers door, and still, just the dome light.

I could've sworn before this ECM upgrade, my lights would come on when I turned off the key and the map lights would be on with the dome lights. Now it seems much darker.

Someone with an 09 pre-ECM upgrade check this out?

 

I have an 09 and have never had the map lights come on when I open the door just the dome light.

 

map lights need to be pushed in to be turned on, if it was in the on position it would be on all the time when the key is in the ignition

 

mines a 09 dc 4x4,all that comes on when you open the door is the dome light.

 

guess i am thinking of my mom's grand cherokee (which i've been driving all day)... thanks

 

theres a mod that allows the map lights to come on with the dome light. its easy and really a great idea. adds a lot of light to the cabin.
