What is really awesome about this is that it sets precedent for other court cases to follow from now on. That dealership just cost Toyota its ass.

It looks like justice has been served. Thanks for letting us know that the arbitration process does actually work.

    1. Bought the wife a 2005 Echo - She rolled it
    2. I bought a 2009 SR5 that Toyota bought back due to false advertising. (as in I got all my $ back, every penny)
    3. Bought my 2010 TRD OR, which has been a pile of shit.
    4. Bought the wife a 2011 Carolla (Toyota does make excellent cars)

Kind of and immature asshole comment for a mod to make.....
Perspective - Oh, this is TacomaWorld.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
this coming from the person on a tacoma oriented forum that does nothing but bash tacomas? werent you also the one that did nothing to cause the rear diff to explode, yet you had pics where you were dug into the mud and could tell you had been rolling the tires?

No can do, non-disclosure agreement, a little digging using the details of my last Tacoma will give you the answer. The cause is on this site;).

    "Rolling the tires"?
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/87921-rear-diff-failure-not-impressed.html
I said I was in the mud, 4L with the diff locked. What is the diff lock and skidplates for? Show?

My first Tacoma rocked, check my sig.....

My second one has nothing but problem. Every post I have made that is negative stems from either my truck not being up to snuff, (my standards aren't that high, I drove Dakota's, and still drive a chevy for work). I don't just randomly bash, FWIW my Tacoma was averaging 2500 miles a month before I parked it.
It bothers me that things get so one-sided on this site.
    That's why I don't post much anymore.
If you love your Tacoma, great! But I am on truck #6, (#7 counting my work vehicle). and I won't ever buy another Toyota truck.
    Cheers.
