Thanks for the compliments. It's all about having fun. Especially when it's your daily.

Here are a couple shots of the front. You can see the intercooler but it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.20250410_073654.jpg

Looks nice behind the stock grill. That's definitely going to be glaringly obvious behind my grill, but some black high temp paint will solve that problem nicely.

That'll take care of it for sure. You'll love how much it wakes that motor up.

This is an amazing thread for a very cool build. I admire these slammed street trucks, but it would just be so inconvenient for what I need my truck for… so I get a huge various thrill watching you refine this thing. Great job.

Thank you! It's been a good way to feel like a kid again. The nice thing now is the ability to follow through with all of the "plans" I had for the truck.

If everything goes as planned, I'll be really making a minitruck out of it...
    Stay tuned!Screenshot_20250411_074904_Facebook.jpg

After searching for over 2 years, I found a solid side, cab high canopy for my truck. It's even the same color! Regular cab canopies are difficult to find where I live. It was a 12 1/2 hr round trip to California. I'm so stoked!!!

My plan is to source an xrunner body kit and shorten it to fit my cab. Install the steel roll pan. Carbon fiber hood w/functional Toyota scoop. Full airbag suspension all around. Do a sliding ragtop in the canopy and a not too crazy stereo system to round it out. I still need to do my bucket seat w/ center console swap.

It's going to require body and paint. More than likely a complete paint job. The hard part now it choosing a color. No graphics, no flake in the paint. Just a solid pigment color.
Here are some I keep envisioning...
    •vivid canary yellow
    •aqua
    •turquoise
    •"f%@k me" red
    •smurf blue
    •white
