getting the tsb done and got billys on order. setting the front to 2.5 and with the rear tsb my measurements for my truck should be from what i read here is front 2.5 inch rear is 1 inch. maybe .75 after it settles. that makes my truck sit pretty level. maybe higher in front .25 inch. because the different is 1 1/2 inch from what i measure today when i dropped it off to get the tsb done. im thinking of putting 1/2 inch blocks or aal that will only go 1/2 inch. i see block and leaf that will do 1 inch. not 1/2 or 3/4. reason being is that it sits level but with a load it will sit high in the front. i dont want to buy new rear springs because im not offroading just street driving. so is there any brand that makes those size blocks or leaf springs?

only thing i can think of: disassemble the leaf pack, insert a 1/2" thick steel "spacer" that has been center drilled into the pack and then torque it in with a new longer centering bolt and held by some longer U-bolts. sort of like a flattened AAL thats just shorter...... probably not a good idea though:rolleyes::eek:. on second thought..... really not a great idea but i think i've seen some worse stuff. lol

You could take out the load leaf & put in the aal from ToyTec.That would put you at 1.5 or 2" over stock height.

i might just do the 1 inch blocks now since 1/2 block don't exists. i would do a new leaf pack but that cost alot more then want i wanted to spend. im looking for somewhere in the 100 bucks range for parts. so 1 inch block and the new rear tsb installed. will the stock shocks be at the max? would that damage my shocks? dont tell me i have to upgrade shocks now!

2" lift in the back is max on the stock shocks. At the bottom of the page link is a shock extender for $10.A block on top of the tsb will make for a stiff ride.

Kalitaco, You don't need to waste your money on shock extenders on a 1" block:cool:. And a 1" block or 2" block far as that matters will NOT, let me repeat will not affect yor ride. Now if you plan on runnig the baja 1000 or rock crawling that may be a different story........

i've seen these before but does anyone know if they'll bolt on to a set of 5100's? my rear shock top out if i bomb down any logging roads or if one tire drops off of a rock too quickly. thanks

im getting the tsb and 1 inch blocks for now. if my shocks start to bottom out then ill get some extenders. but my main goal was just to lift it with 1/2 inch blocks.

it doesn't really bother me when someone revives a thread because they are looking for an answer to the same issue but when someone revives a thread to offer help for an issue that happened 9 years ago that is just................
