Kit looks great, especially the rear pack.
2 things I don't like are the long wait period, and the price.

That kit cost's $100 more than the toytec and does not come pre assembled.

Any pictures of the rear flexing? One thing I had about the 05+ Tacoma is the lack of rear flex. The only decent flexing springs I have seen are the All pro Expo pack, which is just to much spring for my needs.

I wish I had the knowledge/skill to do a shackle flip. My 01 Taco easily flexed 12" Bilstein 5125's with the Deaver 8 leaf. These 05+'s with AAL's cant even fully flex 8" shocks.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
The wait time wasn't SE's fault. It was Camel4x4 who accidentally shipped it to the wrong place. You can also call Camel4x4 and they may be able to come up with a better shipping idea to you up in Canada since they have stuff everywhere. No, not pre-assembled. But you can always buy new tops and bushings and do it that way. I don't have any good flex pictures of it, though I should. Kind of hard to get flexing pictures in a flat state.

Pulled the trigger on the OME setup as listed above.

Total with shipping and pre-assembled strut/coil was less than any other place by a far margin.

Should be here by this weekend (hopefully).

I will keep you all posted with pics/review.

Thanks... I love my truck and the OME setup made it the truck I thought it could be when I bought it. I need to do a build thread since there doesn't seem to be a lot of us running the 884's, seems most go with the 885 / 886 setup. I'm still planning on doing UCA eventually, but the wander is pretty much similar to stock but that seems like an upgrade this truck could use anyway.

post pics when you're done with the lift.

I just put OME 885's on my 5100's at the zero setting tonight. I had Eibachs on the 5100 at the .85 setting before and it was too rough for my liking off road. The 885 at the zero setting got me a quarter inch higher than the eibach did at .85. My hub to fender measurement is 22.5 in the front with the 885 on 5100's at 0 setting. My rear hub to fender measurment is 23.25 with Wheelers 3 leaf aal and no TSB ( i have 6 leafs total including the overload leaf.) This setup seems excellent so far! I drove it out and hit the test woop near my place and it felt the best the truck has hit it since I got it a few months ago. OME coils for the win :)

Yea it's really what I've been chasing the whole time I've been playing with suspension. I have taken apart the front end to make adjustments on the 5100 or change coils 5 times. I got damn good and fast by the 5th time :) The 885 on the 5100 at zero setting smooths out the jars I would get with the eibach at .85 and really performs excellent in all conditions. It's not gushy smooth like stock but it is pretty cush. Overall i'm leaving everything just the way it is! Got an alignment and all my numbers are as close to perfect as you can get. Stoked about that since I don't want to jump to UCA's yet. I'd love some Total Chaos in the future :)

i just got the same truck. from what i see, 3" is the most from a "standard" lift you can get? i would want to keep it like 2.5" because i think a 3" would not fit in my garage. are there options for about 2-2.5" of life?

OME 885 on bilstein 0 setting is about 2.5 from what I gained, and goes well with Wheelers 3 leaf progressive Add A Leaf system if you leave your overload leaf in place.

Sorry for the lack of clarification.

    Old Man Emu 885 coils

Bilstein 5100 series shocks specifically for the tacoma, see toytec lifts, wheelers off road, down south motorsports, or off road warehouse and the like for all you could need for your tacoma.

Yes the add a leaf gets sandwiched in with your current leaf pack.

Depends how much you understand the dangers of doing suspension work with home garage tools. No, it's not hard if you are mechanically inclined or enjoy turning a wrench. If you are at all uncomfortable do not attempt, no amount of money to have someone else do it is worth messing up your body because you weren't sure of what you were doing. That's all i'll say.

Bought tires a few days ago. 265/70/17 General grappler AT2.

Love then so far, very easily balanced, very quiet and so far great in the heavy rain we received this week.
