I miss my stock build up, but there's something about a new stock and target barrel... I can pick flies off of targets @ 100 yards (complimenting the gun, not my shooting haha).

Your 10/22 looks good Jacob. Yep, same as me, when I miss it's not the gun, but the trigger operator.

What size of a group did you get before and after changing the barrel?
I always suspected that the stock gun groupings at 100 ydrs was mostly due to the ammo.

When it was stock, my 100 yd groupings was about 1.5", with terrible ammo. I never really shot good ammo through it when it was stock, kinda pointless. But 50 yds at stock with crappy ammo, I was doin about .75" groups, which is pretty impressive for stock. But now with the new barrel I get about .3" groups at 50, but haven't shot a lot at 100 to tell.

Foglights are for fog, not oncoming traffic!
You could win national matches with that accuracy...that's as good as match guns costing 5X your 10/22.
I built a gun on an action worked by Randy at CDC.
Added a Green Mountain 20" fluted stainless sporter weight.
    Volquartsen buffer, laminated thumbhole stock.
    Decent shooter...still get first-round flier.
Not in the same league as my bolt gun (CZ 452 Varmint)

I may have posted these before, but I have a few. All were built my me, with a mix of Power Custom, Bell-Carson, VQ, Shaw, EA Brown, Adams&Bennet, Fajen stocks, finished my self including countless hours of sanding. The only one I didnt do was the thumbhole, with is a .17M2 conversion.

Yes but that was with perfect conditions, which are rare around here. There was no wind (rare for WYO), temp was ideal, and I was shooting Wolf Match grade ammo ($$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$). I will not be able to afford that ammo, and I doubt I will be lucky enough for those conditions again. So I'd say with my standard ammo I shoot now (CCI Blazer), it'd shoot about .5" groups at 100 yards. Which is still DAMN good for a .22lr. Highly recommended to anyone.

That would be better than the finest 22lr match guns.
    Congratulations.
