No Oz-T...it's OK to base your opinion on the year vehicle you own....what IS retarded....is those two stupid quotes attached to each of your posts.

Sorry...only the really ignorant use the term "retarded" anymore. So, let me rephrase...those quotes you have chosen to attach to all posts....those are stupid.

Thanks for your input though...I appreciate you taking the time to chime in...serious....thanks

In my opinion, its not terrible, but far from what i expected, i like the bumper, other than those dumb fog light surrounds, would rather the 2nd gen style, the grille, mehh, maybe i could appreciate it more if it were painted, headlights im unsure about, would like to see it with painted grille and hood w/ scoop to give a like or dislike answer, i like some things more than others about it, as we all did with our trucks when we bought them and they either grew on us or we changed them... All in all (and i know i may get some bashing for this, but, BRING IT ON) I beleive it looks like a Taco front end had butt sex with a Raider front end and thats what came out of it..... :crapstorm:

I believe the Entune comes with a free 3 YEAR subscription but I cannot figure out if NAVIGATION is among the functionality.

Sorry, OP, failed to give you the opinion you wanted, if i were you id go for a better deal on the 11 right now, or maybe in a couple months, or wait til the 12 is the only thing you can get and may be able to get a better deal on it, or simply tell him youll take the 12 for the price he quoted you for the 11... never know... what they tell you is below invoice, theyre still making money on you...

KevLot17....I actually agree with what you said about trying to get the '12 for the price quoted for the '11 (that is to say...$300 under invoice).

What are you referring to when you apologize for failing to give the opinion I wanted?

Just got my 11 and love it! 12 front end looks soft but aside from that it's the same truck. Buy 11 and save $$. Again just my opinion.

I dont think you will have any luck trying to get the 12 for the same price as the 11.

Do you mind sharing what you paid, relative to invoice price?

From the phrasing of the original post it seems as though you are trying to convince yourself to let $800 sway you from what you really want. In the grand scheme of this purchase $800 is only 2.67% of the purchase price of a $30,000 truck. IF you settle for the 2011 and you really want a 2012 you will kick yourself everyday you get in/out of the truck, trust me I did the same with my 2006 until I found a deal on my current 2010. In the end they are both Tacomas and there is a post floating around on the 2nd gens that just busted 250k miles, you can't lose either way. ;)

You are all right with me OZ-T.

I own a Mustang and frequent a forum about those...it is typical that everyone seems to favor the year model they have...it is expected.

However on this thread, quite a few have said they regret not paying a bit more and getting the latest and greatest version.

When I buy new, I usually do by the outgoing model to save a few bucks. I hold me vehicles for a long time so the re-sale value is not the main driver for my decision. In this case, I do like the look of the 2012 front end, I do want the latest technology that is available, so I am inclined to pay a few bucks more.

Thanks to all for the input.
