12-15 climate control in a 05-11 truck wiring guide

Hey bud, i have an 09... woukd you possibly sell one connector ( thatll fit my 09 harness ) and thr accompanying pins? I have the pigtail for my 15 controls.

 

I ordered 15 sets. If I would have known this I would have ordered an extra connector....I will see if they can change the order.

 

I have a 2011 and would like the harness for plug n play please and thanks man !!

So I did this mod and haven't done the polarity mod on my 08 taco because it just got back from getting a warranty frame. The issue I am having is that the A/C button is illuminated all the time regardless if I push the button or not. Would polarity mod fix this?

 

First set of cables shipping today. 11 still available.

 

The A/C is not working in my 07 after doing this conversion.

I followed all the steps and even tested continuity on the new solder points on the circuit board to make sure the proper connection was being made.

The AC button does not light up or engage the air conditioning unit when pressed. Everything else works though.

Any idea whats going on?

 

Your harness is pinned incorrectly or you didn’t cut the PCB deep enough to open the circuit

 

So i used the harness to swap 1t controls into my 09. The ac light is illuminated at all times, and wont turn off.... whats the fix for this? Everything else works perfectly

 

I'm not having these problems... my recirculation light always comes on when I start the truck, but I can press to turn off. I'd say check your pinning is correct

 

You have an 05... i know in 09 they changed the polarity, but im not sure as to why my ac light would stay on. The harness was purchased from a user here, i was wondering what the pinout should be for an 09 so i could correct it. Ive seen others having this issue on this thread as well. Did anyone find a cure?

05-09 have been told to pin gray wire from 1 to 13, vice 16
buuuut this guy says his 2011 had to be pinned 1 to 13, like the 05-18

Jacob, I received my harness on Saturday and it looks good, but won't be able to install it for a while. I'll report back once I install it. Thanks for making these for us and the quick service!
