I used two rolls of 18" x 36' Rattletrap Pro; approx. 100sqft and about 60lbs. I also used Mass Loaded Vinyl on the rear wall and doors (Luxury Mat Pro brand name)

Can you post photos of how you put the MLV on the rear and doors. That's my next step in my truck.

Lowes, but 1/2" would work just as well.

Unfortunately the entire truck is now reassembled and pulling it apart would be a major pain.

For the rear wall, I cut it to fit the areas between the horizontal supports; two full width pieces.

For the doors there is not enough room to use a full sheet so you have to cut pieces and fit it into the void areas.

    nice install!

I've started my gradual stereo build - Just a question on the Fatmat, did you ever put the vapor barrier back on or did you just let the Fatmat act like the vapor barrier ?

the deadener acts as the barrier,
Generally i use a thin firm sheet of any non water penetrating material and cut to size to cover the access holes. Then I toss deadener over it and allows for a true IB setup for the mid woofer

What did you use for yours? I have some pieces of lexan that they sell at Lowes. It's around 8" x 10" each piece. I was thinking on using them when I do my doors. Cut to shape and riv-nut them into place, using sealant tape in between and matting both sides of it

That or ABS plastic works like a charm. Instead of sealant tape, use 3M Window seal. You should only need matting on one side.
