In recent days I read a modification to a 2nd Gen. relay that allowed this, with good results long term, now I cannot find it, I am wanting to apply this to my third Gen. with push to start. I should have printed it when I had a chance. has anyone done this ?

My guess is that mod wouldn’t work for the 3rd gen. Completely different electronics and BCM’s. Everything is different in that regard. Easiest way would be to snip the wire and run it to a constant 12v source
