I promised my fiancé I wouldn't modify this truck... I lied.
    Hey guys,
I've got a 1998 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road, stock suspension. Right now I'm running the factory 31/10.5/R15. Need new tires and I'm getting tired of my old painted rims. Ran across a guy who swapped his tires and rims on the lot. They're stock 2013 Tacoma rims and tires which are 265/65/R17, at least his model of truck. I looked on the size calculator and there is hardly any difference at all. They're just maybe a 1/4" wider if anything. Anyone done this, should I be okay with no lift??? He's asking a decent price so I'd like to pull the trigger on these. Thanks...

Called Les Schwab yesterday and they do fit. Hope this helps if anyone else is doing a swap like this.

Can't wait to see how it looks! I thought about getting 2nd gen wheels but I've decided to have my stock wheels painted black instead- Hopefully soon

Thanks guys, I'm stoked to see how it turns out also. I'll have some pics in the next couple weeks when I get them.
