what aftermarket 16 inch rims will fit my 07 tacoma preerunner. 4 wheel parts told me that no aftermarket 16 rims will clear the brake calipers. i was told by some one else that the american racing mojaves fit. also would procomp rims fit? can some one clearify this for me? thanks.

As long as you have 4.5 back spacing you should be fine running 16's. Is your truck lifted or at stock hight? Once you go up to 6 inches or more you have to put on 17's. otherwise you should be fine.

I am sure they will fit. I am running some Mojaves on my 5 lugger. I don't see any reason why a Pre-runner cannot, just post the specs and I am sure some one can confirm if they will fit or not.

Is your truck sport package? What is your stock rim, 16 or 17? Will you be lifting your truck?

If you have stock 17", I think 16" will not fit due to rubbing of caliper.

If you have 16", some wheels will rub in the caliper. The brands mentioned above will fit since they are using them. However, you might need a small lift if you go with a lower backspacing (say 4.5).
