Does anyone have a list of what wheels will fit a 2nd generation tacoma? I have seen pics of wheels that I like but don't know if they come in 16's. I am not dead set on staying with 16's, but would like to so I can keep tire priced down somewhat.

    Thanks.

I realize that this is an old message you posted back in jan, but i just noticed it since this is what i went through a few months ago and i had trouble getting good answers out of people. i dont know how many 16" aftermarket wheels will fit the 2nd gen Taco but i do know that the Pro Comp 7089 and 7189 16" wheel will fit over those large 2nd gen taco big-ass calipers perfect cuz i have them on my 05. they are flat black 7089 pro comp 16X8 with 4.5" backspacing and i have 33" Nitto Terra grapplers mounted on them with a 3" suspension lift. if you installed 7089s or 7189s on your taco with 265/75/16 (31" X 10.50) they would be perfect without a lift and youd have no rubbing issues anywhere. i had to do some inner fender plastic trimming and mudflap trimming due to the combination of the 4.5" backspacing that i had to have to bring those wider/bigger tires out away from my upper control arms. I had been rubbing on the UCAs with my stock 16X7 steel toyota wheels and 33" tires that had a 5.5" backspacing and once i brought the bigger/wider tires out 1 inch it made me have to trim plastic away, but that was very easy and minor.
