Sensors and other connections are easy. Taking the black center piece was the toughest. MetrickMetals post #88 has a great write up. You really want to take the end cap assembles off to remove the caps. It's just 1 extra step but will make disassembly and reassemble much easier.

Anyone paint their chrome ones? How did it turn out? Is it lasting?

Victory Bumpers has a very good video on YouTube showing how the rear bumper is removed, including the bumper cap.

No painting. The video is showing how to remove the bumper cap and bumper prior to installing a new Victory bumper.

Tried but look online but didn't have any luck, is there color keyed caps that don't have sensors in them? All the ones I keep finding are for the tech package one.

    Like, so many.
I had some custom done in MGM, but I assume you're looking for white ones?

Yes white... I think I saw a few TRD sports around here with color keyed caps that didn't have parking sensors so I'm going g to ask the dealer about that.

I got the chrome off and the black ones on but I lost one of the metal toothed clips.

Anyone have a source for replacements?

I don't think it really needs it but my OCD insists lol.

$2 a piece from the dealer lol.

Skinned knuckles but the bumper caps are all clipped back on now.

    My OCD can rest easy.

This sure was a PIA but well worth it. Thanks for all the how to advice!

Great thread. I swapped out my chrome caps for black ones. It was a PIA to get them taken off but I definitely could not have done it without this thread.

Anyone in the DFW get this done and want a case of beer to do mine?? Lol. For the life of me, I can't get my hand in there too remove the license plate lights. I don't have huge hands but I can't get in there with the tow hitch in the way.

Got it done finally. Took some long long nose pliers to get the license plate lights out. Once I got past that it was fairly smooth sailing.

Don't remove the entire bumper, just the plastic end caps. It is relatively easy.
