Please tell me this is a routine CEL? Noticed yesterday at 16,008. Truck runs very excellent. The only change I've ever done was add a aFe Stage 2 CAI at 10,000. Running Pennzoil Synthetic oil.

Dealer is an hour and a half away, so it kinda sucks.

Is it a CEL or MAINT REQ light? Big difference between the two

Well there is no such thing as a "routine" CEL, unlike the Maint Req light. We can't really help you unless we know what the code is. Do you have access to a reader or is there a parts store (Advanced, O'Reillys, Autozone, etc) nearby? They will read it for free.

First thing your gonna wanna check is your gas cap make sure its on tight i know it sounds stupid but if gas vapors escape it can cause a CEL. Does your afe have a dry filter or oil?

Should still be under warranty, I'd just drive mine to the dealership and have them deal with it.
