Just wondering if anyone has tried this. Looking to run the stock tires with some konig countersteers for a while until I have the cash for a new set of tires. According to the bfgoodrich site 8" is the max width for that tire.

    http://www.bfgoodrichtires.ca/specs/...-t-a/1163.html

Im just wondering how strange it will look etc...pics or comments would be greatly appreciated

According to the specs they fit, so they shouldn't look strange at all. I'm running a 9" width rim and it barely comes out from the fender, so I'd think 8" width would be almost flush.
