I am ordering my lift this week and I am trying to decide whether to get 17 or 18 inch wheels. I know that with a 3 inch lift I can run 265/70 17s but what size of 18s can I run without rubbing?

OME 885 coils & front shocks, with TT top plate, Total Chaos UCA, Rear OME extended shocks, Rear TSB, Rear Toytec AAL, trimmed the saber-tooth-tiger-long-ass mud flaps. 17" XD Revolver rims, 265/75/17 BFG AT KO's. Ripped out the crappy FM Modulator & installed a PA-15-toy interface. OEM bed matt.

I was wanting to know what size 18s I can run with a 3 inch Toytec Coilover lift and If I could go bigger than 265/70 17s without rubbing/trimming.

I'm still working on mine. I have the OME 885 & N140s up front. It started out with a 3" lift but has settled to a 2". Not too happy right now. I have 265/70/17's & I have had to cut out quite a bit under the fender. I just ordered some top plates which should give me an additional 1/2"-5/8". We will see.

But, mine is a 4X4. Your prerunner is not as heavy up front. Ask Toytec (email in writing) what you can expect as far as a height increase. I know some guys here in town are running 285's with some rubbing.

    A 265/70/18 is 10.43" X 32.61" which on a nice rim, is good sized. A 285/70/18 is 11.22" X 33.71", which is HUGE!

Hopefully someone else can chime in.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the help guys! Chris would I experience any rubbing of the stock UCA with a 3 inch coilover lift on the front with running 285/60 18s or 265/70 17s. The wheels I will be running are 4.5 backspace with -12 offset. I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't be rubbing the uca at all before buying my wheel/tire combo. Thanks again!
