Regardless of the “overlanding” discussion, my post is about why I like my Tacoma and this forum. I posted the video here because I felt humbled to be showcased and wanted to support small business and the vendors to a different audience and here as well. This country is built off small business and more business helps!

Thank you. I’m very busy as there are a TON of kooks to make fun of. I’m sorry you’re depressed because the news shows you how fucked up the world is. You should venture out there sometime and see it for yourself.

That drawer setup is really sweet! I wasn’t expecting the cutting board/stove setup.

You weren't the only one in the thread that made fun of people who enjoy overlanding, but it really chapped your hide that someone didn't laugh at pathetic one-upper "attention is being given but not to me!?" jokes, and called out that they're not funny, huh? Like I said you do you. If making fun of others is all you can do to get your rocks off then go for it. Obviously it bothered you, but good try trying to hide it behind more jokes and a meme.

You can still change though. I believe in you! And I won't let that pesky depressing news get to me.

But... I am doing me? Why are you so angry with me?

    ETA I will never change.

Yeah I had a board cut to be the cutting board, had planned to treat it and such to be a cutting board, then I thought “why don’t I just use a cutting board?” Felt like a dumb dumb it took so long to think of that!
@Mastonian knows how smart I am!

I just watched the video last night. Good shit Dave. I don't remember if you said you got 4x4. I love the KB Voodoo setup you have.

On that note, I don't get why people buy a TRD Off-Road in 2 wheel drive. It just doesn't make sense to me.

    No offense to anyone here.

Yeah i don’t either, sometimes the almighty dollar dictates what we can do or not. But yes it’s a DCSB 4x4 off road with no sunglasses holder as it has crawl control. I don’t know if I’d really need CC cuz lockers are amazing when you flip that on. I tried to use CC once when I got stuck in the mountains in snow, but it turns out if your wheels aren’t touching the ground neither lockers or CC work very well. It was 3 hours with my shovel to dig out under the frame....

CC saved my ass up at Fossil Falls. My friends talked my ass into driving up a soft sand hill. I got up ok but as soon as I tried turning around, I dug myself in pretty good. I had a momentary "Oh fuck." I prayed CC would save me and it did. Truck went like 1 MPH as I turned around, slowly but surely. If that didn't work I would have tried airing down next but there was no place to fill back up for many miles. I had a tow strap but no one would have been able to tow me out. I got back and played it off like I had no worries haha

Air compressor....it's a must have especially if you travel to remote places. Airing down to ~16 psi is the first thing I do on any 4x4 trip, gives you better traction and makes the ride 100x more comfortable. Esp in sand.

The Viar 88p is under $70 and I've used mine probably a thousand times since I got it a couple years ago, seriously they are a great investment
