i always wish they woulda had this color or similar blue on the lot when I bot mine, they only had a white, green and black ... the other 2 were AT so I got a black, and now there are way 2 many black trucks of all makes in my locale (my truck don't stand out) it will cost me about $12k to stand out :( but that is still less pricey than a near $50k 3rd gen which are just TOO big

my SR5 side striping is different than yours, wonder why it was changed

so it would seem there were more sold in 1995 since it is only for half a year or is my logic flawed?

We have nearly the exact same truck except mine is an MT. Even have the WA plates! Looks like it’s in great condition, how’d you come to own it?

From my previous experience with Toyota ... it is reasonably safe to assume all 1st gen buckets use the same bolt-down locations.

(I’d not be surprised at all if it can backdate to one of the 80s models, or even 70s. Toyota tends to keep stuff the same unless they need to change it. I’m finding a surprising amount of parts whose applications are 1979-2004 or 1969 (or whatever)-2004, with ALL compact Toyota pickups using the same part, or at least attachment points.)

I'm not sure on that, I've seen a few different strippings. I've been on the fence of getting it removed, but it sure does add to the charm of the truck.

    They're the oem cloth seats!

Honestly I was just religiously looking on craigslist. All the time, for 2 years. My benchmark was SR5 (Power everything blah blah), 4WD, V6, Under 150k miles (this one had 138k), preferably not modified, and under 12k. I also wanted something that was clean not beaten. I was hoping for a lot.. but I held out after looking at many that didn't quite meet my criteria. This was on craigslist for 1 hour, I was the second caller. First buyer bailed as they were looking for a farm truck, it was too nice for them. So I bought it later that evening, $8900.

Toyota will change cosmetic stuff, but they are interchangeable.
There will be a number of seat skins (covering material) on the same seat design, plus several seat designs, but all bolt into any bucket-fitted model.
I was referring to the bolting in itself, not the seat design/color.

I’m looking at bench seat reskins (upholstery replacement) from earlier models for my 95 bench.
