    What's the production date?

Post a pic of the tailgate. That should explain some of it.

here is something i just thought of, maybe you know?
if you have the powered package with the mirrors would that not also include the power antenna?
i love the power antenna, such a slick design when you're cruising and its retracted

it could be the prior owner had them specialty installed at some point?
i have probably used my power mirrors 10 times in 23 years lol
usually to check the passenger side curb clearance if its sketchy backing up into a parking stall at the mall, etc.

This is what I call pristine truck. Not "detailed for sale" but exactly how clean truck should look after 25 years.

Congrats on your buy. What month is it (door sticker)?
Are these headlights also original? If so, just add 100 dollars to your truck with pair of Hella 200mm Rectangular E Code H4 with Silvania or Phillips H4 bulbs. Then you can thank me later.:D

Thanks! I’m not sure what month it is yet. It’s literally on its way from AZ right now. I’m on the east coast so I should have it sometime next week. I believe the headlights are original. I’ll definitely check out those bulbs.

i assume you have the VIN by now?
fairly certain you can register and enter that into the Toyota owners website and get all kinds of info including the date of production and all of the equipment it was originally shipped with before any dealer add-ons

So interesting enough I took the VIN and tried to enter it into the Toyota owner's website and it said it was not a valid Toyota VIN. I tried calling Toyota and they told me to try Toyota Canada or possibly Servco who would have the VIN if it was in Hawaii or a military vehicle. So far it's not showing anything for Servco and I need to try and call Toyota Canada tomorrow but when I ran a Canadian VIN search nothing showed up for the vehicle. The dealership I bought the truck from has the title with a clean carfax and auto check. I'm not sure why it's not showing up in Toyotas system, is it something to do with the 1995 model year? When the salesman from the dealer tried to look up VINs he said the Tacomas started with 1996? I'm puzzled and hoping to piece it together tomorrow

Also, not sure if this matters but this was the only VIN I could find on the vehicle which was under the windshield. All other VIN numbers had been taken off when it was painted.

I thought that too but I confirmed that is the VIN that's under the windshield and also the VIN on the Auto Check and Carfax. I was able to get a hit on it when I typed the VIN in here https://www.yotatech.com/forums/vindecoder.php?vin=4TAVN73F1SZ980221# Not really sure what to make of this

That's definitely the correct VIN format for a 95.5 Tacoma.

Did they remove the data plate from the door jamb too?
