I am searching for a discontinued EGR valve, toyota part# 25860-75050. See attached photo. Can anyone tell me if a valve from a 3.4L is compatible with my 2.4L? Not getting much help from the dealer.

Have you tried cleaning your unit? I had some success with that on some mid 90's Hondas. Got them freed up and working again.

Obviously if it's got a torn diaphragm or such that won't work, but...........

Just thought I'd throw that out as another consideration. 'Cause the part probably isn't cheap.

Have you checked Rock Auto or other suppliers?

Thanks Bill. I broke the one on my truck, and JB welded it back together. Didn't see a diaphragm inside. I found one at an auto wrecker, but it doesn't work the same as the one off my truck. Not sure which one is good, or where the diaphragm is in this unit. The outlet on the one I got from the auto wrecker, with the thing that looks like a can doesn't allow air in or out.
