    Hello. I am swapping in a 5vz-fe into my 95 Tacoma, and came across a turbo kit for it on Craigslist. I'm intrigued. I've read places that the 95-96 5vz ecus don't like boost. Can anyone comment or elaborate on this? Thanks!

    Since you off-road, go the supercharger route. Turbos like to overheat.

    I talked to URD. To run boost, id need an ecu from a 97-04 Tacoma and the wiring harness. I guess the 95-96 doesn't like boost.
