Nvm so since I need a coil type, they only come with electronic TB. Does the USA TB bolt to the JDM intake? with USA harness?

Hope everything works out for you , but yeah you should be able to put your top half and good to go.

I would recommend you take your time and do any maintenance items you can while the engine is out. I regret not taking the time to do the timing chain/ valves while i could have but it runs good regardless and ill just have to tackle those when the time comes.

Hello tacoma world. To all that have done this swap in the past, I have a couple of questions. And i also apologize for hijacking this thread.

    1. What did you guys do about the dipstick situation. Did you just leave the jdm one over the alternator?

    2. Will the pink top injectors work with my oem USA harness?

If you have the front mount dipstick you can use it and just plug where the driver side one goes if the JDM one has both. I know the T100 3RZ does.

The JDM has a pressed in aluminum plug where the USA dipstick would go. I dont mind leaving the JDM one. Question is, will it read ok with my USA oil pan? Same oil capacity in the pan?
