Recently came across a 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser with 303,000 miles on it for sale locally. The owner said it burns a little bit of oil but other than that runs good, going to look at it later today so do not know for sure yet. Anyway I know little about Toyota's and specifically the Land Cruiser, so I have couple questions for the folks of Tacoma World that do have experience.
    1. How reliable are the mid 90's L.C.'s?
    2. How reliable are they with over 300,000 miles?
    3. Any common problems/issues?
    4. How hard are they to work on at home?
    5. And is there anything specific I should watch for wile looking at and or test driving this?
    Thanks a bunch,
    Cole

Thanks canes, a friend of mine recommended this site and a couple others, he spoke highly of this one, so I figured I would give it a try. I did get some great info and I defiantly appreciate all the help.
