    I believe all The USA motors are all the same 1995.5-2004, the accessories are different, those being the throttle body, cables, cruise control etc. fuel injectors are a little larger after 2000, but if your swapping engines you should use all the old parts from the old engine to the new engine. You may or may not have an oil cooler on the old or new motor that connects to the water pump, you should use the harness from the truck and not from the new engine, injector clips might be a little different and need to be modified depending on what years u are looking at. Just use all the engine parts, ( throttle body, cables, exhaust, wiring harness, MAF, from the old engine and you should have no problems, if both motors have a oil cooler then the water pump will hook up the same. Replace the knock sensors and harness while you are in there and
    as many engine seals as you can, valve cover seals, rear main seal, front seal, timing belt, water pump and ALL bearing, all that stuff because it's so easy to do it when the engine is out of the truck.
