-Head gasket blew this semester, and the head and gasket were repaired at the dealer.
    -has a clutch cancel
    -Manual locking hubs
    -162,xxx miles
    - New tires
    - Very clean interior, and it has a colour matched fiberglass tonneau cover

Not to crap on the thread or anything, but the frame recall didn't actually replace the frames for 95-00. Toyota actually bought back the trucks with bad frames for those years. They only replaced the 01-04 frames.

OP does your roommate have paperwork for the frame replacement?

That's a nice looking truck, those recessed headlights where a thing of beauty. Price?

He's in a final right now I will ask about the frame when he get's out.
    He's asking $5,500 obo

I'm a 4Runner guy myself, my account here is to keep an eye on group buys mostly. So I know nothing about the tacoma frame replacements, I didn't realize it wasn't part of the problem years. He's the second owner, and it would have been done (supposedly) during the time the original owner had it

There was some miscommunication on the frame, it was a different tacoma that got the new frame, not this one.
The frame is in good condition though, I can add more pictures if wanted. Sorry for the miscommunication. He does have paperwork for the head/head gasket if that is wanted.

No worries, the frame looks good for the year from what I can see in the pics.

    Good luck with the sale!
