Ok guys please give me some advice. I bought new center caps for my 97 tacoma and the center caps are friction fit. The clips that hold the cap are not working. I tried bending the clips out to get a better fit and that doesnt help either. Any tips or advice?

Are you using them on the Aluminum Toyota wheels?

They are the caps for the wheels you have??

Two dabs of Silicone 180 degrees apart left to cure might hold them on.

All mine but one fell off years ago

What'd you do to get yours to fit well?

OP is having the same issues I had with the center caps I purchased. I just left mine in a parts box and haven't bothered since I tried them on the first time.

I also use clear silicone caulk there, and on the filler panels under the headlights. They are bad about falling off also.
