My truck came with a K&N CAI, I have the opportunity to get a free snorkel from an old guy that bought a Taco with one installed. I've heard the K&N CAI is somewhat useless on the 1st gens... Would there be a way to use the snorkel and the K&N? (use CAI for daily driving, then detach CAI and hook up the snorkel as needed) Do the snorkels get better air intake than a CAI anyway being up in the air?
