The contrast in my odometer appears to have decreased such that when driving in the daytime I cannot see the numbers against the dark green background. This is when the lights are on or off. At night time I have no problem reading the numbers.

Is there any way to improve the contrast? Maybe a bulb change?

Is it the LCD display? If I understand this correctly the numbers are hard to read during the day without a back light, but with a back light at night you can read them just fine?

There is a bulb behind it but it only comes on with dash lights. You should be able to see it just fine during the day. When there's nothing wrong with it. I have a good display if your interested.

It is very difficult to see the numbers on the LCD when the sun is up whether the lights are on or off. At night, when the lights are on, I can see it just fine.

I guess my 76-year-old eyes just aren't what they used to be :(
