I replaced the complete rear differential in my Tacoma due to a slight roar in the ring / pinion and found a used third member for $800 + $80 shipping to replace as I was not able to find anyone to rebuild in my area.

I now have the old one that came out for sale if anyone would like to add a differential locker to their non-locker rear end Toyota. I believe it will fit any Tacoma from 95/96-2004 or prerunner. It has 4.10 gears but the r/p needs replacing. You could pull yours, swap gears and re-install and have a locker if you add the diff switch you can find on ebay and run a couple of wires. This is the electric locker complete rear diff.

    I will take $300 + ground shipping.

If you are planning to just use this in an offroad application it would be fine to just install it and not worry about the roar.

Please email me at dzney52@yahoo.com and I can give you shipping estimate DHL ground if you are interested.

    thanks,
    Bill
