I am about to push the buy button on Ultra Gauge now!! Thanks for the feedback. I keep an OBDII scanner in my truck and figured its the same ++ some extra great features. Just didnt want to get it and it be some chinsy crap.

I have rear aux light, underhood LEDs, and an aux stereo amp for rear speakers in the bed that are going into the other switch holes. Also a battery selector and extra battery to power this stuff when I am not running the truck. Need to figure out where I can stick an aux battery under that hood. Just a few more needed items for an ol surf bum really...

Anyone saavy enough to call me out....I stole that switch plate mod from ol Box Rocket! hahaha

Actually I got a few mods from him, but thats what this place is for I thought??
    Stealin mods...Better than stealin wives!!!

Yea man you wont regret getting it, but it wont be the same as your code reader as in explaining the code but it will give you the code itself...then you just have to look it up.

I knew i had seen it somewhere and have always wanted to do it just never had the motivation to do move all my wires from under the dash up under the radio... & i also somewhat stole some parts of his rear bumper design :D

Ya you seen my rear bumper huh??? Vaguely familiar?

Its not to bad on a 1st gen to move the wires cause there is nothing behind that cubby, dunno on the 2nd tho!!

Good luck, I may PM you when I get it if I got any questions and see if you got any pointers

yea heres a pic of the design im after on mine, you'll notice its all based off his basic bumper, i just added to it, now just have to get some material together and start building it!
& actually the hitch part i came up with on my own not even realizing his was made the same way untill he said something, i though he built his into the center of the bumper which i may end up doing as well, still undecided on that part but i like the look of it the way you guys have it done

The tag probably really wouldnt go there cause i know there isnt room for it so ill just move it to the tailgate

Ill get around to making that little switch panel eventually but probably not any time soon or at least till i order the switches

Ya so riding home last night my truck sounded a lil ricey...Crawl inderneath and the SOB muffler split about 6 inches down the seam...

Figures. So I just ordered a Magnaflow 12216 to replace it. Hopefully it will be here before Friday since the vendor was only 20 miles from me...about 2 miles from my work, but they dont allow local pickup. :(
So stupid for them to pay shipping. Free shipping for me so whatever.

Just didnt realize that it was like that til last night, and I crawl under that thing all the time...

Sounds good but after riding around with a blown out muffler for a few days I honestly can't tell the difference!!:D

Ok so installed Magnaflow. Drive home from work after I did it and my truck is doing a lil reving kinda thing when I push in the clutch to slow down. Goes from like 1k to 1.5k rpm. Lil brumm brumm brumm then settles out at the normal 900 rpm. Hopefully this will adjust after the computer has time to compensate for the intake and exhaust thats on it. I replaced the throttle positioning sensor a few months back so I am pretty certain its not that but still not ruling it out. HOPEFULLY, shes just excited for her new parts. She ran so good with the new muff and stuff. Super happy, just need to figure out this glitch. Anyone got any ideas please let me know.

Gotta say the stock, 13+ yr old muffler had had it! It weighed a ton! Slowly but shirley< who ever she is,I am gonna damn near replace everything on the truck.

I really am excited to be getting a lift in a few months. Getting guff about it from the ol lady tho cause I just replaced shocks all around a year ago cause they definitally needed it but I wasnt in a position to afford the lift at the time. So I put on some off road Rancho, shocks to get me thru.

I will get there one day tho.
til then any help with the idle issue would be great

ive noticed mine does that to when sitting at idle, when driving or coasting not so much. try resetting the battery. I couldnt compare to much cause i went from a cheap chinese aftermarket muffler to a good after market muffler

I am looking at a 2.5" OME, with the Dakar leafs and aal. Prolee gonna add a 1.5" shackle. Just Savin cash and doing all the other lil mods I can til I can afford the lift.
Want to get new rubber to but I got the bf at last year for my wife and they still have a ton of life on them. Also not really looking forward to the lose of mpg I would earn with 33's!!

Soon tho. I will keep on posting!!!

Thanks for the kudos, been a tough build but always appreciate the love I get here, keeps me movin on it!!

I will go with the medium duty spring.

I haul firewood and all so I can get it to break in pretty quick.
