    Thank you.

The next time I head out to Moab maybe Ill post before hand to see if anyone would want to go. If a bunch of people went, it would be a matter of figuring out a campground to fit everyone. Im not sure the logistics of it. There would probably be a campground somewhere where youre able to reserve the whole thing. The thing is I dont have patience for doing all that, then people bail, too much of a mess for me to set it up a big one.

So much for taking a break.

I run the K&N on the road but I carry a regular one when I hit the dirt. Luckily on the Tacoma its super easy to change. I pulled my K&N in Moab and just ran the regular one till I was able to clean this one. So today is the day.
    toco0265.jpg

Pulled my hemorrhoid off for the moment. I left it connected to the bars so I dont have to align them again.
    toco0266.jpg

    toco0267.jpg

Been trying to chip off as much of the clear as possible. Doesnt really need much help, its doing it on its own. The plan is to try and reclear the factory paint and see what happens. Im down to roll the dice to see how it comes out. This wont happen for a little bit.

Im still think Im good for a min for putting the DD light bar on but I did a little mock.

I kind dont want to go here. Its pretty much overs the span of the radiator.
    option1.jpg

I was thinking of sticking it behind the hellas. I would lose the out side leds on the bar but I dont know if I care.
    option2.jpg

The only other issue is. I wonder how much the bumper is going to block the output with it being set back, since its like a ledge.

I want to pull my aux fuel tank from my bed and make a new one for under the trunk. I started mocking it up. Im going to try and fit it around the spare tire. The hardest part is figuring out where the filler neck is going to go.

Did a little more on the tank mock, this one is going to be hectic.

    toco0272.jpg

    toco0273.jpg

Had to take off the spare tire brackets and remount them a couple times. I might be trying to make the tank too big. I dont know how much the brake bias rod actually travels once the suspension is bottomed out.

Playing with the idea of adding the filler neck in the same door, so they are side by side. Def not gonna be easy. Im gonna need to take off the black plastic shroud/mount and make a whole new one.

Back to mocking and making more revisions.

    Where I left off.
    toco0274.jpg

    toco0275.jpg

Cut a huge part of it off and shortend up the drop. I was 6.5 inches and I took it down to 5.5 inches for extra clearance for the axle and stuff.

Revised again. I added a drop down to go around where the tire is to gain a little capacity back.

Revised again. I cant stand how much Im losing because of the brake bias rod. I added back and cut a slit into the tank for the bias rod to move. I need the tank on the other side of the bias rod because thats where I want to go with the filler neck. Its going to make it much harder to make, but whatever. Im planning on this being the final AUX for this truck.

One of the other revisions I made was, I slimmed the hole tank so it can fall between the bed rails.

As a side note. Im looking to possible put a water tank here. Not sure yet, it might actually go somewhere else. Up above the spare on the bumper side.

This is the final. The rough square measurements are 29x17.75, 5.5 for the thickest part and 2.75 for the smallest thickness between the bed and spare tire frame.
    toco0279.jpg

Still have some fall off from the last tank that was made. I also found a piece of 6160 T6 that im going to use for the bottom of the tank to give it extra protection.
