So I'm basically curious if there is anyone out there that has found a block heater for there 3.4L toyota. I was told that this particular year cant have a block heater put in so they slapped a piece of heated heat pad on the oil pan and the wires are already corroded and I dont trust it for catching on fire and burning up lol. So if anyone has any info would be greatly appreciated. I have looked online and only block heater I find is for the 2.7L.

Toyota does that sometimes even though it’ll fit fine. I don’t see what would have changed from the 2000 to 2001 revision of the 5VZ v6.
