    @Torspd Using borescope I found some debris in one of the cylinders in the new to me engine. I have a head gasket kit. Against my better judgement I decided to clean the pistons with a silicon brush. I didn't think I hit the cylinders but I did very slightly. Do you think I'll need to re-deck the block? I just don't want to hassle with removing pistons/rods, etc...

    Impossible to tell from the pics how much you ground off the deck, but to get the debris out of the cylinder, take an air blower hold it close to the piston and blow in the middle of the piston. That will pull the debris out.

    The Felpro ones take up for some irregularities. I'd say the copper coat, gasket, and call it a day.
