I checked this morning. They have several that will fit but none of the 105 amp densos.

I've done a mod or two
I just pulled one out of the junkyard. They come off Suzukis, it's not like they're Toyotas or Hondas... The yard is full of them, $22. Shit's mint

Agreed, why I included the last negative they received. Still, there will always be someone who is in dire need and reaches out to the seller beforehand to confirm they have it in stock and is willing to pay that price. Personally, for me - I'd keep looking if I needed one.

Be a Ty and start grabbing them whenever you go, clean em up and toss em in the MP.

Unfortunately my local yards don't have the correct years to pull from.

Keep looking, one will pop up soon! I’d check first thing every morning and when it popped up I couldn’t believe it! A lot of the online ads show when stock is projected to be replenished.

I was able to order the 105 amp alternator on June 22nd. Their website said they were projected to have stock on the 23rd.

I’ve been scrolling thru this thread for couple days now not sure if I missed it earlier.. apologies if I did miss a previous post, but wondering if anyone that switched to the 105 amp alternator also using the GM diode in place of the Alt-S 7.5 fuse?
I dropped in the GM diode a few months ago and getting good results with my AGM battery getting 14.56V charge. Hoping to get any feedback before upgrading my alternator. Thanks

I’m not using the GM diode. I’d did upgrade the stock cables to 4 awg from alternator to fuse box then fuse box to battery. I also ran a 4awg un-fused cable directly to the battery. New 2 awg ground cable from battery to engine block, then engine block to frame. New 4 awg negative cable to fender from battery. Simple & clean. What a huge difference it makes. Anything electrical works so much better.

No, I ordered the cable & lugs and made them myself. I found that 45 degree and 90 degree lugs worked much better at certain connection points. Kits typically come with standard lugs.

Here is a top down photo. I just used an existing bolt/bracket to ground the negative cable to the frame. I just put the skid plates back on or I’d get you a picture from below.
    Hope this helps!

I used the existing battery ground bolt on the block. I recommend a 45 degree lug if you have one.

    Hello!

Will this work for a '98 4Runner? Think i found a new xl-7 alternator but theyre listing it at 160a output but say it's compatible w the yrs '02-'06.
