I mentioned this in another thread asking if it would work. And it did! So i decided to give it it's own thread.

The purpose of this mod was to make the housing of the blinkers gloss black instead of chrome. Simply because i hate chrome. And when it's done, you'd be surprised how bright the blinkers still are, and how good the lights look in black.

**Do this at your own risk. If you dont feel comfortable doing it, DONT.**

*First I preheat your oven to 300F, then turn the oven OFF and set the lights in the oven for 10 minutes.

*Then pry the lights open with a small screwdriver. There are 4 tabs (one on each end) that you'll have to press down.

*Sand the inside of the lights with 400 grit sandpaper.

*Prime the inside of the light, and then paint with gloss black paint.

*After it dries, take some black re-sealer and seal the lights back together and hold it together, until secure, with some rubber bands, or clamps.

*After it dries, put the lights back in and your good to go!
