Trimmed the white 2 sided tape off both ends. Couldn’t stand to see that.

Wouldn't that have the same visibility issue as the clock?

You have a doublecab, so you could do this where the airbag switch usually goes:

I just took a random cheap cell phone holder, cut the back of it off, and screwed it to the switch blank. It even rotates still so you can hold it vertically or horizontally.

In this pic it's got rubber on both sides of the clamp. One side (left side in pic) eventually fell off (it's cheap!), so I just heat it up with a lighter and bent it slightly so it curves around my phone. It is SUPER secure.

I like it, I’ll probably put it there. I got a cupfone for Christmas but it’s kinda low being in the cup holder.

I think it's a very cool tribute that you kept the OEM clock:cool: in my head I tell myself it's because you wanted to keep your Toyota with all its Toyota parts :D but I recognize it's likely the cheapest way to move it in your case as well:rofl:

    Works like a charm!

That looks great, the thing I'd worry about though is the finish. If you are driving and the sun is at a certain angle and hitting off that, that would be very bright/blinding would it not?

Got started on the compartment where the clock was. Had to use a piece of round, it’s all we had.

Done. Left a .050” lip on the bottom so whatever’s in it doesn’t slide out. The pocket is 2” deep.
