Has anyone ever done a custom sub box for an extended cab 1st Gen that doesn't take up any seat room?

Correct me if i'm wrong, but the stealth box won't work with a 98' access cab will it?

Do you have any links to fiberglass builds people did for an access cab?

And yes, Mr. Marv was the guy. Thank you sir.

Me personally I went with a small box, 10" sub and just laid it down on top of the rear seat. Its pretty low profile and once you extend out the little tray, it fits real nice.

I would really try to get a box that doesn't take up any seat room at all, so a box that would fit directly behind the center console or something.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
I would show you mine but its a 12W7 in a ported JL Audio spec box. Nuff said.

I would like a ported box for behind the center console, my 12'' square kicker L5 wouldn't fit and it loves the ported box! hmm, I'll do some designing too and we'll come up with something.

i don't agree with those cubby boxes, the shape is so fucked up, and you can't use the seat for people anyways. I'd rather have a box on the seat and get GOOD sound rather than ok sound, ya dig?

i just designed a box for this in cad, still need to take some more measurements just to get it exact and how i want it but the layout where its inbetween is the idea, also im trying to keep it where i can still raise and lower the seats and have access to the cubbys

I've been playing with the idea of a custom box setup in the back. I want to see if I can get a low-profile 10 inch to fit. My idea is instead of building a drop-in box for the rear cubby-hole, I am looking at sealing the entire area of the cab. This helps in that I will have more CF area for the larger 10. Still in the planning phase of course. Not even ready to begin the design phase yet. Since my 1st gen has the 60/40 split seats, I don't have a center console.
