So this is the truck Im looking at. It is in almost perfect shape, frame is good no rust doesnt look like its been in a wreck, oil is clean, timing belt changed at 80k, interior is perfect ect. I am going to offer 10k instead of 10,991. Would yall buy it?

I would start at $9k. That is a pretty cheap truck to start with. Not many extra options like power windows and stuff. Look it over good and point out dents or other issues as part of your price negotiation.

Yea I have looked at it VERY GOOD and test drove it drives like a dream. I just got back for the second time looking at it, there are no signs of it being in a accident or any type of damage. Besides a little dent/scratch next to the drivers tail light. Ill claim it as trail damage if I do get it tomorrow. :D They were asking 11,500 at first then dropped it to 10,500 for us and that was three days ago. We are going to go offer 9,800 or 10k tomorrow and see if we can get it for that.

I paid 8k for my 01 4x4 v6 5 speed extra cab with 146,000 miles on it. Just so you know. It has been great and I got it from the original owner.

I dont have a problem with the miles. Thats low for a Tacoma IMO. Its a very nice truck and looks like it was very well taken care of. There just to hard to find to pass up a good one. I think 9,800 - 10k drive out is not that bad of a bad price. Just want TW opinons. I would like to get it for mid 9k but I dont think they will go that low. But I wont pay anymore then 10k. Oh, and the inside of the frame is perfect also no rust.

I think its a very nice truck. If you can get it for 9500 go for it, but any more and I wouldn't, JMHO.

Might want to check out edmunds.com and kbb.com for its value on that before you buy.

Thanks for the tip, will do! ;)

I would love to get it for that. But we just have to see what happens. Hopefully we can get it for that much.

I think you got the right idea for the price. I would also start at 9000 (or 9500). The miles are a little high, which makes sense why they drop the price. I bought my 02 4wd (roll down windows ;) two years ago with 121000. Either way, it is a nice looking truck. Good luck man!!!
