Hey all, I have a 99' 4x4 std cab with some front end damage. I found a wrecked 04' with a cherry front end with matching paint, wondering if I can swap everything from the 04' to my 99' i.e. fenders, hood, bumper, lights, etc...

    Yes.

@STLharry aka “The God of Swap” has a good write up on it.

But if I were you, I’d swap a 95-97 front end on it because that’s the best looking front end of all the 1st gens :)

If you have any questions let me know, I may be able to help even though that was years ago and don't have the truck anymore. However, I do have to say it was pretty simple and if a n00b like me could do it, anyone could

My thread outlines everything pretty well - you do not need the fenders! Just the parts I list

Thanks @WildLand , unfortunately the front left fender and bumper is where most of my damage is, the rest on the hood and right fender is purely cosmetic. If I can get the 04' cheap enough I can avoid painting and give the truck a "face lift" as you say

Swap a 3rd gen 4Runner front end on it, just don’t use the fat lip front bumper
