1st gen love?

Looks like most recent update is about a month plus. Not super accurate but getting down to the wire for us.

 

Uh like July they'll be ready?

A month plus to have the first one done, cant say when it will be ready for purchase though.

Definitely be interested in these when the time comes for me to purchase some. Any idea on price point? I'm looking at Relentless Fab's products right now.

 

They said similar to their 2nd gen pricing. Only thing is which bumper? The high clearance or normal bumper? I'd assume somewhere in the middle seeing the side supports are more material but not as much as the high clearance ones

Nice work, this looks awesome! I like the wrap around feature, the hidden receiver, and the recessed BD lights. Is there an option for dual jerry can holders? I may have to put the funds that I was going to spend on gears into one of these. This would be nice to have at RT this year.

 

Probably closer to the Hi-Clearance, judging from the looks. I'd expect it to be the better part of a $2k note. By the time you factor in labor and materials, they're not getting rich off this. Your also paying for high end quality that will last longer than the truck.

 

I don't see it being that much, that's a lot more than the competition right now by a few hundred bucks. While the quality may be worth it I don't see them making it more expensive than the 2nd gen stuff

 

That's on par with Relentless, CBI, and quotes I've gotten from 4x/fab shops.

 

2K for a high quality, fully decked out rear is reasonable.

Who is the competition? Who else is making a dual swing out with all the goodies for a 1st gen?

 

X2. Mine was 1500 with just a tire mount. Then after all the fab work I did to get it the way I want it. Pushing 2k easy just in parts

 

And it isn't a dual and it's not available.

 

I'd consider Relentless and CBI the competition and their fully decked out bumpers with a single swing out are around $1500-$1600.

Pelfreybilt's fully decked high clearance dual swingout bumper is $1850. So that's where I was getting my rough estimate from. Sure it's close to $2k but I wouldn't round that far up

 

Time will tell. I bet either way, it'll be well worth it

 

I got an initially higher prices, but I added lights, table, dual jerry can holder, and powder coat. My thought process being I might as well get all the options I want, as opposed to wishing I'd done it differently down the road. It's the old theory of buy once, cry once.

 

Oh yeah for sure, I'm getting it regardless haha.

Ah I didn't add powder coat as I'm going to rattle can it. So when it gets scrapped up I can easily fix it
